Get Cooking, Kids!

Got a kid who loves to cook? Have her enter Kids Who Love to Cook's Recipe of the Month Contest for the chance to win an iPad and be featured on Kids Who Love to Cook, a website dedicated to encouraging kids to appreciate good food while teaching life lessons through cooking.

Kids Who Love to Cook is a website created to encourage kids ages 8-16 to appreciate good food, while teaching important life lessons like planning, budgeting, measuring, adaptability, and creativity when presented with challenges.

If you have a kid who loves to cook, encourage her to enter the site's Recipe of the Month Contest. If your child's dish is chosen, she'll win an iPad and be featured in the Kids Who Love to Cook newsletter and on the website. Kids can bake a sweet dessert or cook up a savory entrée. The dish can be new or adapted from published recipes, but the idea is to be creative, have fun, and try different flavors.
