Park Shore Country Day Camp Celebrated Its 60th Anniversary

Park Shore Country Day Camp Celebrated Its 60th Anniversary

The beloved camp is thankful for six decades in the community.

Park Shore Country Day Camp celebrated its 60th anniversary this year and is proud to have crossed another milestone in the history of Park Shore. What began as a small travel program from Queens in 1950, then to its current location in Dix Hills in 1959, has evolved into one of the premier day camps that has serviced countless families across Long Island. A lot has changed in those sixty years, but more importantly, a lot has stayed the same. It is still a family-owned and -operated camp and school that appreciates the confidence and trust families have in it as well as valuing its staff. Park Shore still believes the best way to keep the camp and school families happy and excited and to attract new families is through exceptional service and exceeding expectations.

Park Shore has countless achievements and accomplishments. The camp and school believes that the number one factor in its continued success are the families and staff who have become a part of the Park Shore family.

The families, friends, and staff are greatly appreciated for being a part of Park Shore. It would like to thank all of our past staff, campers, students, and families who have made the last 60 years possible. Its present families and staff continue to make Park Shore thrive and the camp is excited to have them share in the journey. As Park Shore enters its seventh decade, it does so with great excitement for what lies ahead.
