Girls Empowerment Camp to Open at West Hills Day Camp

A Mighty Lass is extending their regular programming for the first time this summer in order to offer a new and immersive camp which strives to create opportunities for young girls to gain confidence, strength, and support from peers.

A Mighty Summer Camp is a full-day program running from 9am-3:30pm from August 22-26. The campers are divided by age with grades 1-3 and grades 4-6 being grouped together.

Daily activities include creative arts, swimming and water slides, leadership skills workshops, social etiquette instruction, nutrition, and other activities allowing the young girls to build both inner and outer strength. Campers are also able to pick a specific track according to their own interests including STEM girls, Expression through Arts, Fuel: Fitness and Nutrition, and Fashion and Design.

A Mighty Summer Camp offers unique attention to female individuality and confidence as girls begin to navigate school and life. The official mission of program is to raise each other up to “become the best version of ourselves.” “As individuals we are unique inspiring and engaging,” the mission statement reads. “Together we will rise.”
