The Babies 'R' Us Trade-In Event is Back

The Babies 'R' Us Trade-In Event is Back

Time to update those car seats and strollers!

The annual Babies 'R' Us trade-in event starts Sunday Feb. 11th for loyalty card members and Friday Feb. 16th for all other customers and runs until March 18.

This is a great time to update gear such as strollers and car seats for the newer, cleaner versions. Of course, updating your gear means it has all the latest safety features. “Safety has always been the root purpose of the company’s Trade-In events – and that hasn’t changed,” the company said in a press release. “In the eight years of events, Babies”R”Us has removed millions of unsafe products from the market, reducing the chance for children to be injured… Families are encouraged to trade-in items that could be a potential danger.”

You can bring in used baby items and receive 25% off one piece of new baby furniture or gear. You receive 30% off if you are a Babies “R” Us credit card holder!

As an added bonus, many items that were not eligible in the past are eligible this year including crib and toddler mattresses, as well as baby clothes and shoes. In fact, donating as little as one item will get you 25% off a clothing purchase during the trade-in event. Babies 'R' Us is partnering with local charities to donate the clothes that are brought in.

Here is a full list of all the items you can bring to trade in:

  • bassinets
