Brooklyn Kids Prep School is Moving to Mill Basin

In July, Brooklyn Prep will be moving to a new building location.

Brooklyn Kids Prep School will be moving to Mill Basin in July. The new facility is a brand-new building, custom-made for Brooklyn Kids Prep School and its needs. The space features a large outdoor patio on the rooftop, a spacious assembly hall, and a cafeteria area that can accommodate several students and members of the community. Though the move is only approximately a 10-minute difference, the new location boasts better access to public transportation including the B41 bus service. Students will have access to Floyd Bennet Field and the Marine Park Golf Course, thanks to the proximity of the new location and the support of the community.

The neighborhood is definitely a place that we are very excited to relocate to and there is a need for our type of school within this neighborhood,” says Naudia Salvodon, founder and principal of Brooklyn Kids Prep. “The community has welcomed us with open arms even though we’re not physically there yet.”

Brooklyn Kids Prep School is an independent kindergarten through 12th grade school that focuses on social-emotional development, integrated classrooms, and experiential learning. This is achieved by treating all students equally, limiting class sizes to 12 students, and going on weekly field trips.

Brooklyn Kids Prep School is currently located at 475 E. 57th St., Canarise. The new location will be 55-18 Avenue N, Mill Basin. For more information visit the Brooklyn Kids Prep School website. You can also follow Brooklyn Prep on Instagram and Twitter at @bkpsschool.
