Chocolations in Mamaroneck Expands Party Offerings

The sweets shop now offers a chocolate piñata filled with candy, plus make-your-own pizza, which are party add-ons.

The basic party package at Chocolations in Mamaroneck includes two hands-on activities: customized chocolate bars and cupcake decorating. Now children can also enjoy a chocolate piñata and custom-made pizza. 

The child of honor gets to smash the chocolate piñata, and guests can collect its candy contents in goodie bags. For make-your-own pizza, children get to stretch out the dough and add toppings; the staff will then bake it for children to enjoy during the party.

“The on-site party room is improving all the time, we are always adding something new and fun, decoration-wise,” says Chocolations owner Maria Valente. There is also a parents’ lounge next to the party room for parents to relax in while the party is going on.

Older kids will enjoy the chocolate buffet where they can make their own creations as well as the “selfie station" with fun props and a backdrop for taking pictures.

Chocolations will also provide chocolates and treats off-site. Its staff will come to your home, office, restaurant, or other party venue to set up a dessert or chocolate table.

“We can accommodate any theme and collaborate with guests to create their perfect party,” Valente says. “We help with all types of party planning, if someone comes to me with an idea I can help them navigate.”

The Chocolations shop sells truffles, barks, bonbons, and more. It also serves baked goods such as cookies, cupcakes, and brownies, and offers chocolate fondue, ice cream, and homemade hot chocolate. Chocolations can create custom favors and special confections for weddings and other celebrations.
