Fairytale Island Indoor Playground and Café to Open in Bay Ridge

Fairytale Island Indoor Playground and Café to Open in Bay Ridge

An indoor playground and café welcoming parents and their children will soon be open in Bay Ridge.

Fairytale Island, an indoor playground and café for children ages 1-12, will open late September in Bay Ridge. The interactive playground will feature safe and colorful equipment including two climbing walls, slides, a ball pit, and a sandbox.

There will also be an educational supermarket where kids can "shop" for foods and identify the item’s name, color, and price. Fairytale Island's supermarket aims to teach children everyday life skills in a way they can easily understand while they have fun and interact with other children.

Fairytale Island aims to provide a high quality, safe, and appealing indoor space for children to learn and play. The colorful and clean equipment featured in Fairytale Island’s indoor playground was selected so it would be appropriate and safe for all children ages 1-12.

“It is our mission at Fairytale Island to help broaden and enrich the educational and social opportunities for our children,” says co-owner Cathy Chen. “Playing is one of the best and most fun ways for children to learn and grow, and Fairytale Island is a place you can come with your children where memories are made and time stands still.”

While children play, parents can enjoy coffee, smoothies, and desserts in the Fairytale Island café. Parents also have the option to rent out the entire indoor playground for private birthday parties.
