Goldfish Swim School to Open in Stamford this Spring

The state-of-the-art facility will implement safety precautions to keep you and your family safe while learning how to swim.


Goldfish Swim School—an aquatic facility that offers year-round indoor swim classes and programs for kids four months to 12 years old—is opening in Stamford, CT later this Spring. The swim school will be dedicated to instilling water safety and confidence in kids through swim lessons for all levels, from introductory "parent-tot" programs to advanced, pro-level programs. 

The swim school prides itself on its effective curriculum and safe environment. They call it the "Golden Experience," with brightly colored walls, tiki cabanas, surfboard benches surrounding the pool, an island-style blow-dry bar, and "shiver-free" pool and air temperatures.

  • A state-of-the-art, 90-degree pool with an air temperature of 92 degrees. 
  • An advanced water purification system, promising a clean, safe environment for swimmers
  • Small class sizes of no more than four children to one swim instructor for personalized attention
  • Classes for all swim levels from four months old
  • A viewing gallery for parents to watch lessons
  • Jump Start clinics during school and summer vacation weeks
  • Open swim times for families
  • Birthday parties
  • A snack shack and a treasure island retail shop

Goldfish Swim School Stamford Safety Precautions

  • Health assessments: Parents will be asked to self-assess their health and the health of their children. Fever, shortness of breath, or any COVID-19 symptoms
  • Protective equipment: Face coverings required for members and staff
  • Social distancing: Members are required to keep distancing from one another in the parent viewing area. Instructors will maintain distance from children where possible, but will assist swimmers as needed to provide a safe swimming experience
  • Increased facility cleaning and sanitization stations
