Enter Your Kid's Art to be Featured on Juicy Juice Boxes

Juicy Juice's Happy Artist Contest gives kids the chance to see their own artwork on juice packs throughout the country.

Do you have an aspiring little artist in your home? Juicy Juice just launched the first ever Happy Artist Contest which gives kids ages 2-6 and 7-10 a chance to see their artwork featured on juice boxes throughout the country. To enter, visit JuicyJuice.com/HappyArtist and download and print the contest design template. Then, have your kid(s) draw what makes them 100% happy in the template. Submit the design by Feb. 28 by uploading an image to the contest website.

A panel of judges will select winners based on criteria like:

  • Design and technique,
  • Originality
  • Consistency with the theme
  • Photo quality

Winners will be announced on March 15 at JuicyJuice.com/HappyArtist. Four grand prize winners will have the chance to see their artwork on Juicy Juice packs and also receive a $500 gift card to use towards art supplies and other ways to empower creativity at home. Ten more first prize winners will win a $200 gift card to upgrade their at home art materials. Juicy Juice suggests the following tips for parents before entering their child's design:

  •  Stay inside the lines
  • Markers, crayons, and colored pencils are all accepted
  • Artists of any ability and skill level are welcome to participate
  • Judging is based on two age group categories, 2-6 and 7-10
  • Encourage your child to use bright colors and bold designs (black and white is not accepted)
  • Focus on pictures—words are not allowed
  • Be thoughtful!

To inspire ideas, talk to your child about what makes them 100% happy—whether it's the family dog, a snow day, swimming in the ocean, or Peppa Pig—and have them create their depiction of it. For some help with drawing, check out one of these free online drawing classes for kids.

"This year more than ever, it's important for moms and dads to have activities at their fingertips while many are continuing to spend time close to home," said Ilene Bergenfeld, chief marketing officer at Harvest Hill Beverage Company. "Taking time to reflect on what makes us 100% happy adds another layer of fun to a simple at-home activity, like drawing, and promotes kids' creative thinking in a new, artistic way."

Juicy Juice offers more inspiration and ideas for staying engaged and entertained on their FacebookInstagram and Twitter pages.
