LEGO Store Flatiron Introduces Birthday Party Program

LEGO Store Flatiron Introduces Birthday Party Program

Mini LEGO lovers, rejoice: you can now plan your next birthday party at the LEGO Store in the Flatiron District!

Starting today, parents can reserve a time at the store’s party room on a Saturday or Sunday for their children ages 5-14 to celebrate their birthdays with up to 10 guests. The Flatiron store is the first one in New York City to offer birthday parties.

At each 90-minute party, kids will be led by two LEGO Brick Specialists to play in group challenges such as building the largest tower or strongest bridge; build models based on a themed story chosen by the birthday child; build a mini birthday cake model exclusive to the Flatiron store; and will take home party favors like a custom T-shirt, frame, photo from the party, and anything from the Pick-a-Brick Wall.

The store will also supply LEGO-themed invitations to the party and thank you cards. Parents can bring in birthday treats like a cake and/or cookies, cupcakes, etc.

“The themed builds and varied activities will help spur creative building that can continue long after the celebration ends, making each party a perfect way to kick off a new year in a child’s life,” Michael McNally, senior director of brand relations for LEGO systems, said in a statement.

The Flatiron store is currently accepting reservations between June 11 and October 30 and it is encouraged to book a time early, as there is limited availability. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of registration, and parties with more than 10 children will cost $40 per additional child.

The LEGO Store Flatiron is located at 200 Fifth Ave. on 23rd Street. For more information, call 212-255-3217 or visit the store’s website.
