Sports Center in Syosset Opens New Ice Hockey Rink

Li SportsHub will open a new ice rink opens to focus on youth and girls’ hockey. It will also offer skate and rink rentals and skill sessions for children levels beginner to advanced. The new rink is slated to open in April and will replace one of the facility’s three turf fields.

Ice hockey will also be added to the summer camp offerings, in addition to their usual multi-sport options. LI SportsHub hopes to, "provide [kids] with a facility, space and coaching so that they can grow as an athlete and a person,” says owner Alan Brodsky.

The two remaining remaining fields will be used for programs such as Little Kickers and Little Laxers. Little Kickers is a franchise newly hosted at LI SportsHub, and the first of its kind on Long Island, which specializes in youth soccer for children in preschool and older. Little laxers is a youth lacrosse development program which aims to teach kids ages 3-7 the fundamentals of lacrosse.
