Licenders New Lice Removal Tool Works in 30 Minutes

Head lice screening and removal company Licenders uses new tool called the LouseBuster to dry up and kill eggs and bugs in 30 minutes. The quick head lice removal technique uses a concentrated flow of hot air.

Licenders, a professional service for screening and removing head lice, has a new product called the LouseBuster that is safe for treating lice on children’s hair. By directing controlled heated air against the hair roots and scalp, the LouseBuster dries up all the lice on the child’s head in 30 minutes. The LouseBuster prides itself on the fact that chemicals aren’t used in the procedure.

Adie Horowitz, owner, says children are the focus of Licenders. The company wants to educate parents and teach them how to remove lice from their child’s head without using chemicals. They have hosted educational seminars and met with the PTA and parents at public schools to raise awareness of the seriousness of head lice issue for children. “The goal is to calm the parents down,” she says. “The problem is that people just don’t know what to do, and schools aren’t providing the service to a problem that can be easily solved.”

In the past, Licenders has been providing its services for many private schools in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, but it is now turning its attention to public schools and families and providing free screenings and LouseBuster treatments.

Licenders has three lice treatment salons located in Manhattan, Long Island, and Connecticut. All offer free screenings and an appointment is not required.
