Matchpoint Sports Complex, a family fitness center, recently opened in South Brooklyn. The athletic center offers activities for the whole family, as well as tennis, gymnastics, and swim camps for kids.

Matchpoint Sports Complex offers rhythmic gymnastics courses in the studio for ages 3 and older, and has a competitive rhythmic gymnastics team.

Quit the frustrating search for the perfect family outing, because the March opening of Matchpoint NYC in Brooklyn has options to satisfy everyone’s needs, including swimming, tennis, and exercise equipment.

Built in the same location that housed the Brooklyn Racket Club, Matchpoint's mission was to create a facility with activities that appeal to the whole family. That goal was accomplished through a 120,000-square-foot facility that includes nine indoor tennis courts, plus five that are dedicated to children ages 10 and younger, a gym with complementary classes, an aquatics center with a junior Olympics-sized swimming pool, a rhythmic gymnastic center, and a lounge with a full-service restaurant. Youth and young adult programs are also available.

The amount and variety of activities allows each family member to find something to suit their interests. And, to occupy children ages 4 to 16 this summer, Matchpoint is offering swim, tennis, and gymnastic summer camps.

Matchpoint also offers party packages in partnership with Funtasia, a local party-planning company. Party themes include gymnastics, tennis, and sports carnival.

Matchpoint NYC is now offering free day passes so you can try it out for a day at no cost. Membership is required to use the gym and participate in adult swim classes, but individual day passes for other activities are also available.
