Passover Tour for Families at The Met
April 10
Recommended for kids ages 8 to 13, this family-friendly tour will tell the story of Passover through multiple museum exhibits. Presented by the Council of Jewish Émigré Community Organizations and the Russian-Jewish Heritage Program, the tour will be led in both Russian and English. This is a great way for kids to learn more about Passover traditions and the stories behind their Jewish heritage. 11am-1pm, $20.
Musical Family Seder at 92Y
April 10
If your kids love singing and dancing, then this Musical Family Sedar will be right up their alley! Led by Rebecca Schoffer, Director of Jewish Family Engagement and live musicians at 92Y, the musical experience will include theatrical storytelling, conga lines, and Passover learning. Although recommended for ages 0 to 8, all are welcome to have some fun. 4pm, $25.
A Family Passover Sing-Along at Village Temple
April 10
Redesigning seder for ages 8 and younger, this Family Passover Sing-Along has all of your little ones’ favorite parts about the holiday. After a sing-along led by special guest Matt Wolpe, your kids will get to create Passover crafts, bake their own Matzah pizza, and more. Friends, parents, and siblings are all invited to this community event. 11am-noon, $10 per family.
ShirLaLa for Passover at The Jewish Museum
April 10
This in-person family concert will not disappoint! Kids ages 3 and up are invited to hear songs and stories about Passover. The concert is interactive, so stay on your feet and get ready to move. After the concert, you’ll get a bag of materials to guide you on a tour through the galleries. Explore the amazing Jewish art and discover holiday objects throughout the museum. 10:30-11:30am, $18 Adult, $12 Senior, $8 Student, Free for kids ages 18 and under.
Kane Street Sundays Open Play
Sundays through Passover
Meet and socialize with your Jewish community at Open Play at the Kane Street Synagogue. While you chat with other parents and enjoy free coffee and bagels, your kids can make new friends too. Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers are welcomed to enjoy the large space– don’t be surprised if you have to schedule a few play-dates after this! 9am-noon, $10.
Pre-K/K Passover Celebration at Congregation Emanu-El of Westchester
April 3
Your kids will get crafty at this workshop specifically designed for little ones. Drop your kids off to learn more about Passover through hand-on art projects. After the workshop, you’re welcome to stay for the Young Families Passover Celebration, which is open to kids ages 12 months to 2nd grade. Pre-K/K Celebration 9:30am-10:45am, Family Celebration 10:45am-11:45am, free.
