Where to Get Cereal as Dessert in Manhattan

Cereal lovers rejoice: You can now find cereal desserts in Manhattan!

One of the most unique trends to hit New York City is a spin on a classic breakfast food, cereal. Shops full of cereal desserts, in a variety of forms, are opening all over the city. Below are four spots in Manhattan at which you can try the most interesting (and tastiest!) cereal desserts out there.

Kellogg’s NYC

1600 Broadway, Midtown
Monday-Thursday, 8am-9pm; Friday, 8am-11pm; Saturday, 9am-11pm; Sunday, 9am-9pm

Kellogg’s NYC is part of the company’s mission to “reimagine a bowl of cereal.” The store, located in the heart of Times Square, brings a new twist to the breakfast cereal. From an “everything but the dough” doughnut, made completely out of Fruit Loops, to a Frosted Flakes S’mores bowl (milk choices include whole, skim, almond, and soy), the restaurant is cereal lover’s heaven. Not in the mood for cereal? The store also offers other Kellog’s breakfast treats such as milkshakes made with different flavored Pop-Tarts and dessert Eggo Waffle sandwiches filled with chocolate and other sweets.

Kith Treats Cereal Bar

644 Broadway, inside Nike x Kith, Greenwich Village
Monday-Saturday, 10am-9pm; Sunday, 11am-8pm

Get an ice cream swirl, a milkshake, or a classic bowl of cereal at Kith Treats, a cereal bar located within Kith stores. The first of its kind to hit NYC, Kith gives customers the option of 23 cereals, such as Lucky Charms and Cocoa Krispies, and 21 mix-ins, including mini M&Ms, Twix, and brownie bites, for unique ice cream and milkshake combos. Or try one of the stores Signature Specials, including The Game Royal (named after a pair of Air Jordan sneakers), a combination of Cap’n Crunch Berries, Fruity Pebbles, and cheesecake bites. Customers can also take a classic bowl of cereal and a glass bottle of milk (choose from whole, skim, chocolate, or almond) to go in a neatly packed Kith shoebox.
