Scarsdale Yoga's New Drink Bar Makes Fresh Juices, Smoothies

Scarsdale Yoga Studios recently opened a juice bar in the studio to promote healthy living by making juices, smoothies, and protein shakes with fresh, locally grown produce. This is now the only location in Scarsdale to offer high quality organic drinks made from whole foods with no added sugar.

Scarsdale Yoga Studios premiered its new juice bar in a soft opening on Feb. 25, introducing a wide variety of fresh juices, smoothies, and protein shakes to its customers. With a similar juice bar having closed earlier this year, this is the only location in Scarsdale to offer high quality organic drinks made from whole foods, with no extra sugar added.

“We opened the juice bar to enhance the lifestyle that we promote within the studio,” says co-owner Lee Gross. Creating the menu with his wife and fellow co-owner Darlene, the Grosses used their knowledge as trained chefs to create a diverse drink selection, bringing the juicing trends found in Los Angeles and New York City to the local community.

Using fresh produce such as pears and parsnips, the menu will change based on the fruits and vegetables that are in season and available through local farmers. “People are looking for these types of products, and until recently, there wasn’t really a place to get something this high quality,” says Gross, adding that the juice bar helps to contribute to the serene and transformative experience of the yoga lifestyle.
