The Fashion Design Lab Opens in Various Locations Throughout Nassau County

The Fashion Design Lab, recently opened by Dayna Steinberger and Eve Korn, offers fashion design classes as well as birthday parties for kids. 10 week class sessions are held in the fall, winter, and spring, once a week after school, where students are introduced to the design process.

Kids will be able to learn basic sketching, pattern cutting, hand sewing, and how to use a sewing machine. They will use these skills to create dresses, pajama shorts, sweatpants, tank tops, and a variety of bags. There are currently beginner and intermediate class options offered.

The Fashion Design Lab also offers birthday parties for groups of up to 15 kids. There are different party options, including making and decorating shirts with spray paint, stencils, and iron-ons, a slipper making pajama party, and a Project Runway party where guests are separated into teams.

The Fashion Design Lab is, “looking to create a fun environment for children to be able to express themselves and build confidence through a creative outlet,” says Steinberger. Classes and parties are held at various locations in Roslyn, Jericho, Plainview and Commack.
