For those of us who love the quality of produce and foods offered at Whole Foods, but hate what it does to our wallets, we have good news! Whole Foods Market 365, a budget-friendly version of the popular grocery store chain, recently opened in Fort Greene, Brooklyn—just a few blocks away from Barclays Center and Atlantic Terminal.
Whole Foods Market 365, a budget-friendly version of the grocery store,
opened in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, on Jan. 31. This is the first Whole Foods Market 365 store on the East Coast, according to Whole Foods. Back in May 2016, the first Market 365 opened in Southern California. With its success, Whole Foods then expanded its locations across California, Oregon, Texas, and Ohio.
“For our first New York City [Whole Foods Market 365] store, I think this is a brilliant location. You’re in the heart of Brooklyn, in one of the busiest intersections in the whole borough. You are across the street essentially from Atlantic Terminal, the Barclays Center, so this is a great spot,” Ted Kwong, Northeast regional public relations coordinator for Whole Foods Markets, told Bklyner.com.
Parents shouldn’t have to spend their entire paycheck when trying to feed their family healthy foods, so Market 365 offers high-quality food consumers can trust at prices they can afford. The best of both worlds! And its 365 rewards program will inform customers of special offers and savings throughout the store. By joining, customers will receive a 10-percent discount on more than 100 items.

At this new neighborhood market, some everyday items will cost less in comparison to the prices at regular Whole Foods Markets. Plus, customers will find a quick-service section, something that is also offered at traditional Whole Foods markets. The quick-service section offers freshly prepared items, and food orders can be placed through a digital ordering kiosk.
Another cool feature parents can enjoy is the beer-pairing kiosk. Simply scan a can or bottle of beer, and the kiosk will recommend foods that pair well with the particular beer. This feature also provides ratings and user reviews.
Additionally, families can dine at some of the non-Whole Foods restaurants located inside the market, including Next Level Burger, which serves vegan burgers, fries, and shakes; Orwashers Bakery; and Juice Press. Customers can also enjoy local beers, ciders, and wines.
So find a few recipes, create a shopping list, then head over to check it out!
