Lauriston Avery, M.S.Ed., has been a leader in early childhood education for more than 25 years. She holds a Connecticut Director’s Credential / Master’s Level and has led numerous workshops and programs for early education professionals. She is the director of Five Mile River Nursery School in Rowayton, CT, the first program in Connecticut to earn accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
