Why Future Stars?

For over 40 years, Future Stars has been providing families from Long Island, Westchester, Manhattan and Fairfield with the most outstanding specialty day camp programs in the New York Metro Area.  With 8 convenient locations across Long Island and over 40 programs to choose from, there is something for everyone.
Our flexible weekly scheduling is a hit with our camp families.  It affords them the ability to pick and choose their weeks and programs to coordinate with their summer schedule and camper’s interests. Weeks can be added at any time during the summer, if we have availability.
A balanced day of skills training, daily water activities and supplemental recreational activities, ensures campers have a perfect blend of instruction and fun.

We Take Pride In Our Staff

We employ a highly qualified staff that predominantly consists of full-time certified teachers and coaches.  Our assistants are collegiate student athletes with a passion for sharing the skills they’ve learned over the years.  You will not see a high school kid running a group here, which is something that sets us apart from the others.  We employ and empower professionals with expertise and experience in their fields that interact effectively with kids.
On-site athletic trainers and EMT certified personnel are in place for any medical needs.

Facilities

Outstanding collegiate facilities or private schools and clubs is where all the fun happens!  Future Stars locations are situated on sites with vast acres of space, but we ensure your children will still receive that nurturing campy feel.
State-of-the-art field complexes, baseball and softball stadiums, tennis courts, gymnasiums, classrooms, computer labs, pools, numerous grass-fields and other water features are utilized daily by our campers.  These facilities allow campers to participate in a safe environment to ensure they have a fun and rewarding camp experience.

Rising Stars/Little Stars Camp -

Rising Stars/Little Stars Camp

Pre-K to 2nd Grade (may vary by location – see program schedules)

These programs are designed to meet the diverse needs of the youngest of our campers. Each day campers participate in age-appropriate activities covering the fundamental skills of some of our “core sports” (soccer, basketball, tennis, baseball/softball), as well as enjoying additional activity periods where creativity, education and character development are focused upon.  A blended day of “core sports”, phys-ed games and creative learning ensures that each camper has an exciting, fun-filled experience every day.

Dedicated air-conditioned classrooms allow our coaches to take these campers out of the sun when necessary.  Fun classroom style games, creative learning sessions, and the occasional arts and crafts period add another layer of excitement to the program.

Lunch periods and daily water activities break up the day.  Locations with pools provide an instructional swim period to our youngest campers.

Directors and staff are certified teachers with extensive experience working with pre-school and elementary age children. Additional coaches from Future Stars sport specific camps complement the staff throughout the week dependent upon the scheduled activities.

Sports Camps -

Sports Camps

3rd Grade to 10th Grade (may vary by location– see program schedules)
Future Stars Sports Camps teach boys and girls to be multi-faceted, team-oriented athletes. Catering to all levels and abilities, our expert, adult coaches utilize current research and trends in their field of expertise to drill and reinforce all aspects of the game in a fun and engaging way.

To supplement instructional periods, each day includes a combination of games and friendly competitions which serve as a vehicle for learning and lets campers have a ton of fun at the same time!

Our popular Multi-Sport camp provides a perfect blend of sports, recreational activities, and team building for campers of all ages and skill levels. Ideal for campers looking for less individual sports training and more social, “fun and games,” with peers of a similar age.
Building character is an integral part of multi-sport, and our adult, expert staff designs the games and activities to promote and foster self-confidence and a sense of excellence in athletics.

State-of-the-art turf field complexes, baseball and softball stadiums, tennis courts, gymnasiums, and numerous grass-fields are used by all sports camp programs.  Lunch periods and daily water activities break up the day.  Locations with pools offer recreational swim periods each day.

S.T.E.A.M. Education Camps -

S.T.E.A.M. Education Camps

3rd Grade to 10th Grade (may vary by location – see program schedules)

Some call it STEM, others call it STEAM.  At Future Stars we use the latter and include the Arts in our stimulating summer camp programs.  STEAM Education helps campers understand how the academic disciplines of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Mathematics impact their world and prepare them for the workforce of tomorrow. STEAM is multidiscipline based, incorporating the integration of other disciplinary knowledge into a new whole. Technology helps us communicate; Math is the language; Science and Engineering are the processes for thinking; art promotes creativity: all this leads to innovation.

Future Stars STEAM Education Camps aim to engage campers in a series of innovative fields not seen in traditional school education settings. Experienced teachers and instructors, along with program partnerships with RoboMindTech and iCamp, have developed exciting and engaging STEAM curriculums for campers to participate in fun, hands on activities and projects aiming to inspire campers outside of the school year.  Project based learning affords the campers the opportunity to excel at their own pace. From introductory activities to more advance assignment, there’s something for everyone!

Programs take place in state-of-the-art collegiate classrooms and/or computer labs with all necessary equipment provided. Additional recreational games lunch periods and daily water activities supplement the daily curriculum to give campers a balanced day of learning and fun.  Locations with pools offer recreational swim periods each day.

Specialty Camps -

Specialty Camps

3rd Grade to 11th Grade (may vary by location – see program schedules)

Future Stars Specialty Camp programs describe anything outside of our Sports and STEAM Education offerings.  Adventure Camp, Magic, Dance, Drama, Explorers, and Elite programs, just to name a few.

These intriguing programs are a hit and are staffed with specialists in their represented fields.  Learning to be a magician, practicing for dance recitals and drama performances, or going off-campus for adventure style activities, our campers can try something new in a fun and save environment.

Additional recreational games lunch periods and daily water activities supplement the daily curriculum to give campers a balanced day of learning and fun.  Locations with pools offer recreational swim periods each day.

ADVENTURE CAMP -

ADVENTURE CAMP

5th Grade to 10th Grade (may vary by location – see program schedules)

Future Stars Adventure Camp is an exhilarating program, incorporating both on-campus, and off-campus activities. The program is modeled on the popular Adventure Education programs that are being featured more frequently in school curriculums across the country.
Adventure Camp aims to create a fun and positive small group experience that fosters leadership skills and encourages the campers to challenge themselves. The goal is to have the campers finish the program with a sense of accomplishment, self-confidence, and a stronger sense of themselves.

Experienced Physical Education teachers direct and oversee the program with additional expertise offered from the on-site staff at the various trip locations. A limited enrollment will ensure plenty of active play and ‘adventure’ in this unique and rewarding program.

The start of each session will feature initial ice-breaker activities and staff presentations as to the goals and expectations of the group. Campers will get to know each other and the staff, participate in cooperative games and discuss the themes for the program (Communication/Respect for Differences/Problem Solving). By promoting positive working relationships, the staff will encourage leadership roles and apply strategy while working on ‘project adventure’ style initiatives.

Trip activities may include - Surfing, Indoor Rock Climbing, High Ropes Courses, Ninja Warrior Gyms, Kayak & Stand-Up Paddling, Sailing, Zip Lines, Trampoline Parks, Escape Rooms, & more.

This program has limited enrollment and sells out quickly.
