A traditional day camp, a Sports Academy featuring soccer, a travel program for teens, and a Leadership Experience for young adults heading to high school. No matter the program, you can expect a welcoming, inclusive community with activities that are designed to broaden horizons and build relationships. Locations in Carroll Gardens, Park Slope, and Windsor Terrace. PSDC, now in its 31 st year, boasts a seasoned leadership team, excellent COVID and overall safety practices, dynamic programing – much of which is outdoors - and enthusiastic, caring, and very well-trained staff. We offer very flexible registration.
Park Slope Day Camp hires and trains the best camp counselors. Kindness is our guiding value, and every staff member strives to create a culture of community and respect. We create activities and experiences that are challenging, inspiring and, most importantly, fun! Our stable leadership team and large group of returning staff create that special feeling of belonging and a place that feels like home, bringing our campers back summer after
summer.
They might start the summer as campers, but they finish like ROCKSTARs! We’re huge believers in celebrating moments of greatness. When we see young people being the best versions of themselves, we take the time to recognize their contributions to our community with ROCKSTAR medals; they’re one of our favorite traditions. We love seeing the pride and sense of accomplishment on the face of each worthy recipient when they receive their personal, cherished medal on their last day of camp.
We offer transportation by air-conditioned buses from most Brooklyn locations. Shuttle buses make corner pick-ups and drop-offs in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn Heights, Carroll Gardens, Clinton Hill, Cobble Hill, Crown Heights, Downtown Brooklyn, Dyker Heights, Ft. Greene, Kensington, Lefferts Manor, Prospect Heights, Park Slope, Sunset Park and Windsor Terrace. Door-to-Door transportation is also an option for pick up and drop off from your residence or another location. Extra Fun allows your child to stay past our dismissal time for an extended afternoon of camp games, board games, arts and craft, and sports.
Would your child enjoy a couple of weeks of soccer instruction? We do that too! Through our very own Sports Academy, campers (entering grades 1-6) can enjoy both a traditional day camp experience and an athletic skills camp all in one, making it truly a tremendous summer! Need transportation to make it work? Sign up for the Express Bus!
