Chelsea Piers Adds New Camps

Chelsea Piers Adds New Camps

Visit Chelsea Piers for one-day school break camps, Ninja & Parkour Camp, and more.

Chelsea Piers has added school break camps as well as a Ninja & Parkour Camp to its offerings for kids.

One-day school break camps offer structured activities throughout the day, just like a traditional camp. Children ages 3-5 can participate in Little Athletes for a half-day, and children ages 5-14 have the option of multi-sport classes such as soccer, basketball, baseball, gymnastics, and rock climbing taught by expert instructors.

School break camps will be offered for the winter holidays on Dec. 26-29 and Jan. 2-5, 2018; for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Jan. 15, 2018; President’s week Feb. 19-23, 2018; March break from March 9-23 and 26-30, 2018; and April break from April 2-6, 2018.

School break camps are also available for the Golf Club at Chelsea Piers, with new one-day camps added for 2018. Junior Golf Camp teaches golfers the fundamentals of golf through one-on-one instruction catered to each child’s needs.

This summer, Chelsea Piers will offer a new Ninja & Parkour Camp, during which campers will learn Parkour fundamentals including the art of movement, how to face challenging obstacles, and flipping techniques all taught by experienced instructors. The camp will be offered for children ages 7-13 on weekdays June 18-Aug. 31, 2018.

Chelsea Piers has offered flexible summer camps for the last 22 summers for every athlete, with 11 weeks to choose from and various sports offered.

“We aim to provide athletes with a clean, safe, friendly, and fun environment to build skills and confidence through sports,” says Erica Bates, vice president of public relations.
