East Woods School in Oyster Bay Opens Early Childhood Center

East Woods School in Oyster Bay Opens Early Childhood Center

East Woods School in Oyster Bay opened a new Early Childhood Center with newly renovated classrooms this September. This ECC in Nassau County offers pre-nursery, nursery, and pre-kindergarten programs from Monday-Thursday, 8am-12pm and Fridays, 8am-12:15pm.

Lunch Bunch provides extended days to nursery and pre-kindergarten children on Monday-Thursday until 3pm and offers story time, soccer, yoga, art, dance, and more. Small class sizes allow for personal attention and a rich curriculum to help children develop a love of learning and strong foundational skills.

All the early childhood classrooms have been designed to promote hands-on learning, science discovery, play, and creativity, according to the East Woods School marketing team. The new classrooms also have an area for public speaking practice, which is a daily part of learning, even for the youngest students.

Other classes and activities that children can expect include story time, Spanish, yoga, music, science lab, library time, performing arts, and outside play, with each day offering a different combination of courses. Math and reading instruction is also integrated into the school day, and qualified students will have the opportunity to move up a grade level or more as a result.

The Early Childhood Center is currently accepting new students. To enroll, you can contact East Woods’s admissions office at 516-922-4400 to schedule or tour.

East Woods School is located at 31 Yellow Cote Road, Oyster Bay, NY. To find out more information, call 516-922-4400 or check out the East Woods School website.
