Tech Programs Added at Local Summer Camps

ESF Camps is introducing additional Technology Camps to its 2016 Camp season.

For 34 years, ESF Camps has provided fun and educational programs for children throughout New York, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. This year, ESF is expanding its offerings by adding more variety to their Technology Camps. These new programs cover a wide spectrum of interests, from art tech courses such as Web Design and Digital Music: Mixing and Mastering, to more engineering based courses such as Simulation City: 3D Architecture. ESF Camps has also added programs such as Virtual Reality, Digital Video and Stop Motion Animation, and Sci-Fi LEGO® Master Builders, a course where campers are introduced to engineering concepts and the fundamentals of space travel.

“We try to introduce technology to a whole array of ages and interests. We custom design a camper’s experience by providing opportunities for them to sign up for camps that they are passionate about.” Debbie Russo, program director for ESF Camps says.

In addition to the Technology Camps, ESF Camps has Day, Multi-Sports, Senior, Tennis, and Major Camp options for children Pre-K-10th grade. ESF also offers flexible scheduling. Campers can participate in a Technology camp one week and enroll in another ESF Camp for the next week. This, Russo says, gives campers the flexibility to create a summer experience tailored to their individual interests.

ESF’s Technology Camps are one to two week courses scheduled June through August. Specific dates and pricing vary by ESF Camp location. Camp hours for all programs and camps are 9am to 3pm. Extended day opportunities with drop off as early as 7:30am and pick up as late as 6pm are available, as well as flexible lunch options.
