Holtsville Center Focuses on Holistic Healing for the Whole Family

Healing Tree Family Wellness, a holistic healing family wellness center, recently opened in Holtsville. The center, owned by licensed marriage and family therapist, focuses on family togetherness and offers family therapy, family yoga classes, family counseling services, and more. Healing Tree Wellness Center is a holistic care center that aims to help families grow and heal together.

Healing Tree Family Wellness believes in family, and the goal of the center is to provide a place where families can receive holistic care together. Owner and licensed marriage and family therapist Allison Southard says that, as a therapist, she saw a need for more family activities and holistic wellness. She decided to open the center in Holtsville to create a space where parents and children can grow and heal together. The center welcomes all families, Southard says, and encourages parents of children with special needs to visit the facility.

The center, which opened in September, offers a wide variety of classes and services, from family yoga and meditation groups to naturopathic medicine and counseling services. It also offers family art classes and art nights, dancing mindfulness classes, and emotional training.

Prices for Healing Tree Family Wellness services vary, Southard says, but clients are entitled to a free counseling or medical consultation over the phone. Also, on Nov. 8, the center will hold an open house from 12-5pm, at which the public is invited to try all the center’s services for free.
