Iona College Begins Renovations to LaPenta School of Business and Hynes Institute for Entrepreneurship

Iona College in New Rochelle began renovations on The LaPenta School of Business and Hynes Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation this past December. Construction on the two new buildings on campus is expected to be completed by December 2019. The facilities will be available for rent by the public when the buildings are completed.

In addition to its new facilities, existing buildings received technology upgrades. The Burke Lounge in Spellman Hall has been equipped with a brand-new audio-visual system and a sound system that can be operated via a Creston control system, which allows the user to control ppower, volume, and input selection to the projectors. The Murphy Auditorium also has a projection screen that allows clients to project images onto the back wall of the stage.
