Kids love to play tag so why not take the game up a notch with laser tag? There are a bunch of places to play in the tri-state area that offer more than basic lasers. Kids can choose from ghoulish zombies, creepy caves, black lights, and more at these great places to play laser tag in New York City, Long Island, Rockland and Westchester counties, and New Jersey.

Laser Tag in New York City

Bowlmor Chelsea Piers

You may have paid a visit to Bowlmor for its bowling, food, and fun, but did you know they have a 3,000-square-foot laser tag area? The laser tag arena is wonderfully decorated with some of NYC’s famous sights like The Statue of Liberty and the vibrant NYC skyline. Be sure to check out the ropes course above the area, too.

Indoor Extreme Sports really does take laser tag to the extreme with 8,000-square-feet of laser tag fun! Their Black Ops arena is designed with Army and F.B.I. training in mind, so kids will feel like they are really part of some important action. There’s a Zombie laser tag area too, with glow in the dark zombies and spooky effects. This is a great place to host a unique birthday party for older kids.

Laser Tag on Long Island

Play laser tag in a 4,500 square foot Battle Quest Arena. Players battle in this post-apocalyptic world of Terminator and Transformers. Against a backdrop of twisted metal and rubble, players battle giant mechanical droids which hover over this lost city ready to strike at any time.

Check out the 5,500-square-foot, multi-level laser tag facility that can hold up to 40 players. Players can choose from different game scenarios and strategic mirror placement and wall openings for sniping make it feel like the "real deal." Head over to Q-Zar for special laser tag mines in a game of Battlefield. Your kids can play on teams or try out the arena alone in a one person game. This place is great for all ages and makes for an exciting indoor weekend activity. Check out the arcade games too if the kids ever get enough of laser for the day.

Head to the Fun House for some laser tag in Westchester at FunFuzion. Everything glows in the dark and the sensor vests track points via a talking computer vs. the opposing team. After tag, try some bowling, billiards, or mini golf!

Rockland County families, look for laser tag enjoyment at Sportime USA. Navigate through the fog and intricate mazes as you try to beat the opposing team. Fun vest packs and gear are provided. For non-laser attractions, check out Sportime’s batting cages, the XD Theater, or the large arcade.

Another great place to check out in Jersey is iPlay America. Cosmic Laser Tag can’t be beat, with two floors of laser excitement in a 6,500-square-foot playing space. While you’re there, test out the bumper cars and go-karts. They’ve even got rides and a theater!

If you’re in the Norwalk area, My Three Sons is the hot spot for mind-blowing fun. The facility features a 2,000-square-foot maze dedicated to modern laser tag. They’ve also got a laser maze where kids can work their way through the lights trying to escape the light puzzle. Try out their inflatable obstacle course too!
