Long Island Lutheran Day School announces Curious Kids program for infants and toddlers.

Long Island Lutheran Day School
has just announced a new program for its youngest students. Curious Kids was carefully designed for infants and toddlers in the mommy and me classes to help students learn and explore by participating in activities designed to enhance motor skills, expressive and receptive language, basic readiness, and more developmental and educational techniques.

By making use of the STEAM approach (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) students in the Curious Kids program will be able to take in new information and experiences using a range of educational techniques. The program teaches children the fundamentals about the solar system, weather, the five senses, and more by integrating the STEAM methodology into all aspects of learning.

LuDay teaches more than 170 students, from 2 years old through the fifth grade. The school is accredited by the New York State Association of Independent Schools. “We are proud to be recognized as a ‘school of excellence’ by the U.S. Department of Education,” says Kate V. Lloyd, LuDay’s marketing and associate admissions director.

“We aim to provide students with the academic, social, and spiritual learning experiences that will shape them into responsible global citizens,” adds Lloyd. As a community of faith, we believe that providing our youth with a well-rounded education is necessary to developing their hearts and their minds.”
