Saf-T-Swim Opens Its Thirteenth Long Island Location in Melville

The family-friendly swim school opened a Melville location in response to the need for a trusted swim school in the area.

Saf-T-Swim Swim School of Long Island opened its thirteenth Long Island location in Melville in the fall, continuing on the course to provide both kids and adults alike with fun, safe, and attentive swimming instruction. Jim Hazen, owner of Saf-T-Swim, opened this particular location because he felt “it is an area that was in desperate need of [our] services.” Saf-T-Swim has provided swimming and water safety lessons for over 35 years. Individual swim lessons are available for kids ages 2 months and older. Saf-T-Swim offers 1-on-1 swim lessons so children can learn at their own pace.

“Everything we do is about children’s safety, both in and around water,” says Hazen.

All Saf-T-Swim locations have indoor pool facilities, where the water is kept at a comfortable 88 degrees year round. Also, viewing rooms with one-way glass allow parents to watch their kids’ swimming lessons.

Saf-T-Swim Melville is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am-8pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30am-3pm.  The Melville location offers private changing rooms.
