Flower Shop Finds Permanent Home in Dyker Heights

Sugar Vines, a floral and event design shop, has made its home in Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, opening this past August.

Store owner, Suella Velez, said that its aim is to provide floral designs including centerpieces, table decorations, balloons, and more to Brooklyn residents. It will cater to events such as retail, weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, and funerals.

As far as children’s parties go, Velez said that Sugar Vines offers balloon designs such as standing balloon pieces and character balloons. 

Velez said the mission of Sugar Vines is to “set itself apart from the traditional flower shop by bringing a fresh and unique twist to an old fashioned practice.”
