    Dogs need fresh air and exercise and dog parks in NYC provide both of those things, plus some dog socialization. Not to mention, they're a great place for us humans to dog watch. Here is our list of dog parks in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Westchester, and Rockland County complete with hours and information you need to know before bringing your dog for a visit.

    Dog Parks in Manhattan

    Chelsea Waterside Dog Park

    11th Ave & W. 23rd Street, Chelsea
    Chelsea Waterside Dog Park has unique play mounds with new vantage points for your dog. Dogs of all sizes are welcome, with shade available for pet owners during warmer months. The park is also expanding their dog run, which already includes a double-gated safety vestibule and fences all around.     Dogs are allowed off-leash only on the North End Hill during mornings and are not permitted on beach/sand.
