NYC Will Host First-Ever National Student Entrepreneurs Summit This April

The summit will give away $25,000 in seed capital to students looking to start their own businesses.

The first-ever National Student Entrepreneurs Summit will be held on April 18, 2020 at the Colden Center at Queens College of the City University of New York. The event space holds over 2,000 people, making it the largest indoor space in the borough of Queens. The summit will provide student entrepreneurs with information on how to start, grow, and scale their businesses. The summit's alliances with Harvard Alumni Entrepreneurs NYC and Queens College, City University of New York will ensure that students have access to networking and mentorship opportunities. Andrew Kozlovski, USC’s Class of 2018 Self-Made Millionaire and a former student entrepreneur, will be keynote speaker.

During this event, organizers will be giving away $25,000 in seed capital to student entrepreneurs from across the country looking to start and/or grow their own businesses. The summit will also be providing more than $5,000 in college scholarships that aim to encourage kids to both stay in school and pursue their entrepreneurial endeavors.

The summit needs your help to raise funds and facilitate mentorship opportunities. Here's what's needed:

  • Donations for the crowdfunding campaign
  • Entrepreneurs within the tri-state area to volunteer as mentors for registered students
  • Additional student business plan submissions
  • Promotion of the conference to students within the tri-state area
  • Corporate sponsors to donate food and/or cover expenses

The summit hopes to raise $30,000 by December 31. For more information on how to donate or facilitate mentorship opportunities, visit its website.
