9 Unique Ways Your Kid Can Earn Scholarships for College

For many parents, nothing is more important than ensuring their kids receive a college education. • Foreclosure.com Scholarship program: Allows students to write their opinions on the pros and cons of renting versus buying a home. The top prize is $2,500.
• Chick and Sophie Major Memorial Duck Calling: In Stuttgart, Arkansas, students can receive up to $2,000 for school by calling four different types of duck calls in 90 seconds.
• Parapsychological Association Research Endowment: Looking to expand your knowledge about the world of the paranormal? Win up to $5,000 to research scientific parapsychology.
• Duck Brand Duct Tape Stuck at Prom Contest: Create and wear an original prom dress or tuxedo using Duck brand duct tape and receive a grand prize of $10,000.
• Vegetarian Scholarship: The Vegetarian Resource Group each year will award $20,000 in college scholarship money to graduating U.S. high school students who have promoted vegetarianism in their schools and/or communities.
• Scholarship for Golf Caddies: The Evans Scholarship is a full tuition and housing college scholarship for high-achieving caddies.
• Delete CyberBullying Scholarship: In an effort to get students committed to the cause of deleting cyberbullying,  the Delete Cyberbullying Scholarship Award for high school, college, and graduate students awards $1,000 to help cover educational expenses.
