Plaza Cinema and Media Arts Center has started a new international film program for children. It launched on Feb. 18 and uses cultural movies to educate and engage students, promoting discussions about culture, heritage, family, and mythology.

The program gives children an opportunity to enjoy an animated movie, and uses it as a tool to talk about issues in the movie as well as everyday life. “We want the children to enjoy themselves and the magic of movies and be able to talk about them with their parents” says Catherine Oberg, managing director of The Plaza Cinema and Media Arts Center.
