Gymnastics Center Adds Boys’ Competitive Program

Gymnastics Center Adds Boys’ Competitive Program

Artistic Gymnastics now offers boys competitive gymnastics levels 4+.  This year, Artistic’s level 4 team took 3rd place at the New York State Championships, says owner Deb Popolizio. The competitive team practices 4 to 5 times per week and competes 6-8 times per year.

For boys who are not interested in competing, Artistic Gymnastics also has a Boys Agility class for ages 5 and older, which teaches coordination and strength combined with traditional tumbling techniques.

Options for girls include a varsity program, which allows students to participate in advanced classes without competing year-round. There are also tumbling classes for girls who want to learg skills for cheerleading.

"We have classes for pretty much anybody who has any interest in gymnastics, every kid that comes into the program is treated like a family member,” says Popolizio.

In addition to their program offerings, they also have summer camps and birthday parties. Artistic gymnastics is located at 425 Oser Avenue Suite 4C, Hauppauge, NY, and for more information visit artisticgymnastics.net, or call 631-273-8426.
