Groove Family Music Studio Re-Opens in Larchmont September 16

Groove Family Music Studio Re-Opens in Larchmont September 16

There will be classes for babies, kids, teens, and parents to enjoy learning through music together.

Groove Family Music’s new family studio location will be opening across the street from Chatsworth Elementary School on Monday, September 16. The studio will offer a variety of classes for babies, kids, teens, and parents that foster learning through music. Groove’s signature, award-winning Music for Aardvarks classes will be offered every morning Monday-Saturday, with new options available for mid-day classes, after-school classes, and vacation day classes.

According to Groove, Groovy Big Kid classes, Groovy Baby classes, Rhodes Piano classes, Infant/Child CPR classes, Family JAM, and birthday parties will be back as well. Groove has also newly partnered with The Voracious Reader and Budding Buddhas Kids Yoga to offer new programming for the fall.

Groove’ October lineup features sing-a-story classes for kids 2-5, accompanied by an adult; family jam sessions featuring the Music for Aardvarks song collection; a Rock Ohm! mini music and yoga camp on Columbus Day; an infant/child CPR workshop; and an acoustic guitar meet-up for teens and adults older than 18 at the end of October.

“I am so grateful to the thousands of enthusiastic Groove families who have given us the honor and privilege of sharing music with their children,” Lesley J. Barovick, the owner and director of Groove, said in a press release.

The new family music studio will be located at 158 Larchmont Avenue. Groove also brings its family music to farmers markets, festivals, and community events throughout the season with its revolving band. To register for a class, book the Groove Band, or attend a Groove event, visit the studio’s website.
