Orthodontics Practice Opens Two New Locations in New Canaan and Monroe

My Smile Orthodontics is extending its high quality practice with offices in New Canaan and Monroe.

Maria Karayiannis, D.M.D, started My Smile Orthodontics two years ago in Shelton with the goal of providing patients with the most current orthodontic techniques available in a comfortable atmosphere. Now, with the opening of a location in New Canaan in July 2015, and a location to open in February in Monroe, Karayiannis hopes to provide patients with the personal attention they deserve.

“My main focus was to make orthodontics as easy as possible for the patient,” Karayiannis says.

Karayiannis achieves this by using new, up-to-date equipment and by scheduling to work with only one patient at a time. This allows her to devote her full attention to each patient, Karayianis says, and to perform most of the work herself instead of relying too heavily on assistants. This one-on-one approach is especially good for children, Karayiannis says. Children, who may find trips to the orthodontist scary, are met with an office that’s not too busy and personalized attention to sooth their fears.

My Smile Orthodontics offers conventional braces, ceramic braces and invisalign, as well as other orthodontic treatments. Complimentary consultations are available by appointment. My Smile Orthodontics accepts most major insurances, State insurance, and also has interest free payment options.
